We have a new flat mate. He's an English fella, and he's actully pretty good value ( strange for a pom, I know ;) My old flatmate, the bitch, paid five weeks of rent while not living with us. Unlucky, I say.

I think the not-bathing thing is some weird European thing to do with cold weather.
Germans seemed to be perplexed about the concept of having twice-daily showers and washing your clothes after only one use.
Mind you, the Deutsch also had toilets with "shelves" in them, so you could gaze longingly upon your deposit after going.
