Ouch. My old man, when giving me the 'birds and bees talk, explained to me how they apparently performed that type of surgery in some middle eastern countries.
I don't know if there's any truth behind it. Needs further investigating...
It's true.
It's called Female circumcision. It's mainly practiced in Northern africa.
Horrible stuff.
